modular synthesis
Clément Vercelletto was born in 1981 in Lyon, he jointly leads a double career as a musician and a director. His artistic approach tends to find the points of friction and clarity between these two practices. Or how the sound becomes a postulate, a vector to activate the body and the voice of the performers on stage. He trained at ENM Villeurbanne (Percussions), CRR Lyon (Electroacoustic Composition) as well as IGTS (Technique du spectacle option son). He collaborates as a musician / composer / performer for directors and choreographers: Marion Aeschlimann, Matthieu Cruciani, Malika Djardi, Léa Drouet, Madeleine Fournier, Yves Noël Genod, Bastien Mignot, Sylvie Mongin Algan, Léna Paugam ...
Since 2011 he has been working at ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels in the form of a workshop giving rise to performances. Some performances will be repeated in other contexts, notably "Tape Ensemble" performed in September 2016 at the Palais de Tokyo. He plays in the music groups Kaumwald (with Ernest Bergez), Orgue Agnes (with Elg and Ernest Bergez), Arlt (with Sing Sing, Eloïse Decaze, Mocke), Luxus (with Sebastien Brun and Julien Desprez) as well as solo under the name of Sarah Terral.
Since 2014 he has been directing his own projects and creating the structure that he co-directs with Bastien Mignot: Les Sciences Naturelles. “The melody of things” his latest project was created in June 2018 at Subsistances in Lyon then at the Actoral festival in Marseille as well as at the Artdanthé festival in Vanves. “Provisional Silence” his last performance was performed at Usine C in Montreal in November 2018 as part of the Actoral Montreal festival. In 2019 he is notably a performer in "Coco" piece by Julien Desprez created as part of the Musica festival in Strasbourg.
