boris boublil : mù | tzotzil

 

 

“Tzotzil” is the language of the Mayas, still spoken today, in the Mexicain states of Chiapas. This state is fighting against imperialism and since 1994 with the Zapatist’s insurrection, this social movement defends the autonomy of the indigenes community. And this is therefore to this language and these peoples that Boris Boublil pays homage with is Mù orchestra, in this EP to the eponymous tittle “Tzotzil”
